Every donation directly helps a foster child feel supported, valued, and prepared for a new chapter. Your generosity provides real comfort during one of the most vulnerable times in a child's life.

Monetary Donations

At this time, Fosters Closet Foundation is accepting monetary donations exclusively through Zelle. Your generosity directly supports our mission to provide essential items to children entering foster care.

Donate via Zelle
You can send your donation using Zelle through your bank’s mobile app or online banking platform.

To donate:

  1. Open your bank’s Zelle feature.

  2. Send your donation to outreach@fostersclosetfoundation.org
    or use the phone number (619) 988-8389.

  3. In the memo line, you may include “Donation” or a specific purpose if you wish.

Once your donation is received, we are happy to provide a donation acknowledgment upon request.

In-Kind Donations

We accept new and gently used items, including:

  • Baby wipes

  • Backpacks & school supplies

  • Bedding & blankets

  • Bottles

  • Car seats & infant car seats

  • Clothing (newborn to 18 years of age)

  • Diapers (any size)

  • Nursery furniture (crib/cot, a changing table/dresser, rocker/glider, etc.)

  • Shoes

  • Toys & books

We do NOT accept the following:

  • Used underwear or socks

  • Items with smoke, mildew, or musty odors

  • Items with rips, stains, tears, heavy fading, or excessive wear

  • Clothing or items with logos or branding from:

    • Churches

    • Schools

    • Businesses or organizations

  • Broken, recalled, or unsafe items

  • Expired baby items

  • Stuffed animals (if used)

Donation Receipts
We provide donation acknowledgment letters and IRS-compliant receipts for all contributions.
